NEW YORK STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET
March 6, 2004 - Carrier Dome, Syracuse University

Intersectional Medley Relay: Section III - 9:15.75 (8th place) - Ted Feeley's 1000m split was a rough 2:44

INDOOR TRACK 2003 - 2004 MEET RESULTS
Tim Hartnett and Kevin Blaich in the 3200m.  They ran together much of the race and exchanged leads a few times.  Kevin finished 5th with a PR of 10:10.07, with Tim right behind in 10:16.74.
Jon Martin clearing 13'00" - the best height in Section III this season, and a new school record! This outstanding performance earned Jon a ticket to the State Championship Meet next week.
Ted Feeley in the 1000m...he got off to a great start, staying right behind the leader and running strong.
The 3rd of 5 laps...The top three runners are side-by-side.  Ted is with CBA's Tom Brower and FM's Owen Kimple.  The pack stayed like this until the final lap, where Ted pulled ahead from the 4th runner and finished 3rd, behind Kimple and Brower.  Ted will now represent Westhill and Section III at the NYS Championship in the Intersectional Medley Relay (a relay composed of the 3rd place finishers from each Section's 1000m, 600m, 300m, and 1600m.)

Into the second lap, Ted took the lead...he ran very aggressively over the first three laps, and opened up a gap on the field.
The third lap - Ted has taken control.  He maintained the lead until halfway through the final lap.  It was a powerful run for Ted, putting an end to an outstanding Indoor Track season.
Jon Martin soaring up to 12'06" on Pole Vault, which he cleared easily.  Jon had a close call with 13'00" and almost made it over with three good attempts.  He still holds the school record and the highest height in all of Section III this year.  The best part about it? He's only a junior.  Congratulations to Jon for an excellent season!
