| The 4x400 Relay: Led off by Jon Martin (upper left), who put us in a good lead by the first exchange (upper right). Next came Ian McLees (lower left), who ran all alone for the second leg, opening up a huge lead on the field before passing off to Sal Mangano (lower right). |
| Our 3rd and 4th legs of the 4x400 Relay: Sal Mangano (left) and Teedy Feeley (right, lapping several runners). The Westhill team won their heat by a subsantial margin, and finished 29th overall with a time of 3:39.81 (very good considering there were over 200 teams and this is easily one of the most competitive track meets in the Northeast). The team again fell a little short of the school record, but all four runners know they could have run a lot faster if they were in the hunt of another team...therefore, things could get interesting later on this season... |
