The 1600: Tim Hartnett (left) led the chase group for the first 1400 meters (the top two runners, Buchannan and Lomong, had opened a big lead).  Tim was outkicked by one runner at the end and finished 4th (4:56.11).  David Riccardi also ran (right), finishing 10th.
Mark Leonard running his first 600.  Mark finished 2nd in his heat (4th of 5 heats) and 7th overall with a 1:38.41 effort.
Ian McLees running the 55m for the first time ever (Ian is primarily a 300 / 400 runner).  Ian tied the school record, 6.7 seconds, on his first attempt, taking 2nd place in the finals.
Distance Medley Relay: Led of by Matt Zych (above left), then to Mark Leonard for the 400 (above right).  Next came Kevin Blaich, who ran a good 800 (2:13), considering it's his first time running in over a week (due to bronchitis).  But the big news of the race was Teddy Feeley's anchor leg (lower right), who shattered his 1600 time by running a 4:42!  Ted's previous best was a 4:51 (and that was outdoors), so this was a considerable improvement.  The DMR team finished 5th.
The 4x800 Relay: Tim Hartnett, Mark Leonard, David Riccardi, and Greg Pallotta.
The team battled with Liverpool, FM, and CNS for most of the race, and finished 4th overall.
Ian, meet Ozzie:  The 4x400 relay turned into an intense Westhill-Chittenango battle, with anchors Ian McLees and Ozzie Myers (primarily a distance runner) running all-out efforts to the finish.  Chittenango narrowly won the event with Myer's 52-sec 400 PR effort.  Westhill's entire team (Mangano, Feeley, Martin, McLees) ran very well, and finished just 3.0 seconds shy of the school record (3:38.27).  They definately seem capable of meeting the record (3:35.3) by the end of the season.
Jon Martin soaring over the 12'04" mark on Pole Vault, vaulting the top mark of the night and setting a school record!  John's Indoor PR (about 10 minutes before this photo was taken) was 11'06" - he had an incredible burst of skill and kept clearing consecuative heights to break the previous school record (12'00").  Jon also ran on the 4x400 relay team with a 55-sec effort, finishing the night with an outstanding double.
